The first sauce of 2019 is here! It’s definitely our hottest yet, but the burn still fades fast, leaving the complex flavor of what we think of as a pretty perfect hot sauce.
We let a variety of superhots (ghost peppers, scorpions, etc.) and little red chilis develop flavors for nine months, then added fermented wild leek greens and apple cider vinegar infused with spruce tips, garlic mustard greens and rhizomes, bee balm and field garlic greens–the wonderful flavors of spring.
As always, it’s fifteen dollars for a 5-oz. bottle, or $12.50 if you get it through our six-batch CSA.
